Issaqueena’s Last Ride is a challenging bicycle ride through the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of South Carolina. All routes have spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The 60, 80 and 100 mile routes climb the Blue Ridge Escarpment offering views of Lake Jocassee and its surroundings while the 30 and 52 mile route meanders around rural north Oconee County. Regardless of which scenic route you choose, all the roads have little car traffic.

At registration on Saturday morning baked goods and coffee are available for that last minute fueling. Upon ride completion enjoy home-made sandwiches, soups and other goodies. Once again our world famous collard green & black-eyed pea soup is on the menu.

Some of the many door prizes include cycling gear from REI, Terry Bicycles and Southpaw Cycles, rafting passes from Nantahala Outdoor Center, zipline passes from Wildwater and free registration to other local bike events.

Dave Qureshi from Speed Shop Cycles in Anderson will be available in the morning for last minute bike adjustments to make your ride go smoother.

Cost of registration also includes a t-shirt, well-supplied rest stops and SAG vehicle support. You must be pre-registered by April 11 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
Early bird registration available through the end of February.
There is a $5 per person discount off the registration fee for groups of 6 or more.
For the group discount contact the ride coordinator.

The last 100 mile rest stop on Cassidy Bridge Road will close at 4:00.
Route closes and SAG availability ends at 5:00.

The ride benefits Safe Harbor, providing shelter to victims of domestic violence, and the Palmetto Conservation Foundation working towards development of the Palmetto Trail extension in Oconee County.
